We have had a lot of rain so finally managed to get out for a walk. Circular walk around mile lane with an addition of looking at all the new houses being built behind Sainsbury's. All new roads named after flowers - Primrose Road, Foxglove Drive, Camellia Street, Bluebell Crescent and Snowdrop Reach.
They are still building on Carnation Drive and Winterberry Close.
It was cold but sunny on our walk with dark clouds moving away, thankfully. Not sure if you have heard the saying my Mum used to say:
If there is enough blue sky to make a sailor a pair of trousers it is going to stay nice weather.
This next photo is our last stop off, (known as base camp 2) showing off my new twinkly woolly hat.
Completed 4.5 Miles. Total 96.8 Miles.
Saturday 5th March 2022
Lovely and sunny but cold walk up to the top reservoir then back through the park where George, Callum and Samantha were playing football.
Completed 3 Miles. Total 99.8 Miles.
Now in Cornwall we have passed Tintagel Castle, rumoured to be King Arthur's. £8.70 to get in, each!
We are now in the town of Boscastle that was made famous by flash floods in 2018.
