16th March 2022

Earlier this week we managed a small walk into the village.

Total 1.5 Miles.

Today, well it started off sunny but slowly became colder and threatening rain. Still feeling a bit ill with the remainder of a cough and now started with the effects of vertigo - again!!! Had to use a walking stick to make sure of my balance.

Managed to get around the Mile Lane walk. Saw some lovely baby lambs and managed to get home before the rain started.

4th and 5th March 2022

We have had a lot of rain so finally managed to get out for a walk. Circular walk around mile lane with an addition of looking at all the new houses being built behind Sainsbury's. All new roads named after flowers - Primrose Road, Foxglove Drive, Camellia Street, Bluebell Crescent and Snowdrop Reach.

They are still building on Carnation Drive and Winterberry Close.

It was cold but sunny on our walk with dark clouds moving away, thankfully. Not sure if you have heard the saying my Mum used to say:

If there is enough blue sky to make a sailor a pair of trousers it is going to stay nice weather.

This next photo is our last stop off, (known as base camp 2) showing off my new twinkly woolly hat.

25th February to 1st March 2022

25th & 26th Feb Managed a couple of small walks.

Completed 4.5 miles

Sunday 27th February 2022.

2 birthdays today - My brother Stuart who has cerebral palsy and was not expected to live beyond the age of 20 turns 61 today. Very happy receiving lots of Birthday Presents from all of his Siblings and their families, cards from lots of people including the Red Rose Carers who sang Happy Birthday to him this morning. George attended Church then came with us to visit Stuart with gifts and a good natter to Elaine who was also there. Later he had a Birthday Tea of KFC with Janet and Terry and family and a cake.

The next Birthday is Debbie (Colin's Daughter) who turns 44 today but thought she was only 42 - lost 2 years with covid. We had a lovely face time chat for an hour for a catch up on the kids, David and herself. Missing actual interaction but with both her and David being high risk on the health factor it is not possible at the moment.

28th Feb & 1st March 2022.

A couple of hours gardening, still a bit cold but managed to tidy the rockery.

Quick trip to St Lawrence Church to change the Altar Cloths but had to rush back as George was expecting a delivery of a new badminton racket - don't ask what happened to the other one!!!! We showed it to Alan a few days ago. We kept the gate open and windows open so that we could hear if any delivery vans were arriving while we assembled the patio set outside and did a test run on the Gazebo we bought for my birthday party later this month - wow it is massive! Bit bigger than we thought but fab. George arrived home and we told him no delivery but he had an email saying DELIVERED - ahhh. Some how the delivery guy had put it over the other gate that we don't use - what the heck!

Completed 3 Miles Total 92.3 Miles - we are now in Trebarwith Beach, Cornwall.
